Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba’s online financial service company Ant Financial Services Group (Ant Financial) acquired 25% stake in which Indian mobile commerce firm on 5 February 2015?

    Ant Financial acquired 25% stake in One97 Communications, which is the parent company of Paytm, to enter the Indian mCommerce space. Paytm is the largest mobile wallet service in India with around 23 million users. It started its services in 2010 and is valued around $2 billion recently. Paytm The deal represents Ant Financial’s first ever investment in an Indian company, and with this investment, Ant Financial, which also runs Alipay Wallet, will provide Paytm with strategic and technical support for its business.
